3 x 20-second push-up-to-plank-holds – Arrange kids in a circle with a small object to focus on in the center (eg, jingle bells, a Santa hat, a dodgeball) while planking
Santa or Elf hat races – Have kids form two lines and race while wearing hat to cone 5 meters away and back. Hat passes to next child in line. Kids sit after last child has returned.
Mat Mountain – Create a mountain using soft materials such as gymnastic mats and crash pads. Kids do one blocked squat, climb over “Mat Mountain” and do one push-up-to-plank before returning to the end of the line.
Pillow Switch – Using a few small soft pillows and two hula hoops, have teams race to grab pillows and move to a target such as a bucket or hula hoop; alternate to return the pillow to the line. Increase complexity by adding a spin or hop prior to getting a pillow.
