A Brand X Method™ Preschool Workout
FOCUS:
Walking lunge – discuss, demo and practice
WARM-UP:
Switch – Kids race each other to the other side of the room using exercises called out by trainer, such as crab walk, duck walk, side shuffle, baby crawl, bunny hops, etc.
CONDITIONING:
Create an obstacle course for kids to navigate in their own way. Include the following:
Climbing element (gymnastic mats)
Jumping element (boxes or hurdles)
Crawling element (under a bench)
Pulling element (roped bumper drag)
Throwing element (dodgeball through a hula hoop)
GAME:
Team races – Kids carry 2-ounce cups of water 5-10 meters to pour into a bucket. Team with the most water in the bucket wins.
