A Brand X Method™ Kids Workout
WARM-UP:
3:00-5:00
10-meter high-knee skip
5 basic dot drills
10 side-to-side hops
FOCUS:
Prowler – high vs low push; short vs long steps
GET READY:
20 arm swings, forward and backward
20 leg swings, forward and backward each leg
1:00 – bottom of the squat
GAME/CONDITIONING:
Prepperville – Each walk of a balance beam and bear crawl through a large pile of 10 or more AbMats allows players to “prep.” Prepping includes collecting what you need one item at a time for the following Prepperville workout. Preppers store collections at designated cones equidistant from the beam and crawl locations. Once all items are stored, kids do the workout. If they finish, kids must return each piece to where they found it by the same method: one item at a time after walking the beam and bear crawling. Play can be repeated as long as desired up to 15 minutes.
Prepperville workout:
3-5 steps overhead plate carry
3-5 burpees
3-5 single-unders
3-5 lateral hurdle hops
3-5 medicine ball push presses
