A Brand X Method™ Preschool Workout
FOCUS:
Planks! – Practice plank with one knee on the ground, then raise the knee and hold 20 seconds, repeat a few times.
WARM-UP:
Chalk line – Have kids draw the sections of the chalk like. For this age group, trainer directs movement (bunny hops, tip toe, run with hands up, etc.).
CONDITIONING:
Musical Medicine Balls – Use side shuffle, bear crawl, broad jump, lunges.
GAME
Plank Ball – Kids hold a plank position in a circle. While the music is on, players must maintain the plank and pass the “hot potato” with a single hand or a head butt. When the music stops, the player who last touched the potato must go to the center of the circle and perform a designated exercise for 3 to 5 reps. Play resumes after the exercise is complete.
