A Brand X Method™ Preschool Workout
FOCUS:
Squat – Teach and review foot position; practice running to designated spot and putting feet in the right spot.
WARM-UP:
Lateral hops from one foot to the other; cue kids to pause between hops. Use music in the background and ask older kids to try to hop to the beat of the music.
CONDITIONING:
5:00-8:00
Stage triangle space
3 jumping jacks => 5-meter walking lunge => 3 lateral hops => 5-meter bear crawl => climb under or jump over small hurdle => zigzag run around cones back to start
GAME:
Squat Relay – Create two lines. Kids perform one squat, pick up dodgeball and run to put it into central bucket. Next child in line does one squat and retrieves the ball.
