A Brand X Method™ Preschool Workout
FOCUS:
Blocked squats – feet together, knees out. Don’t worry about depth today. See who can freeze and hold the position for 15 seconds.
WARM-UP:
Skipping – teach and then practice. Have kids run or skip10 meters and throw a dodgeball to a bucket.
CONDITIONING:
AMGMAP in 5:00-6:00
1 blocked squat
2 burpees
3 box step-ups
GAME:
Finding Nemo – Various equipment is strewn around the room. While the kids cover their eyes, the trainer hides a plastic toy fish (Nemo) somewhere within the equipment. On “Go,” the children try to find Nemo. For subsequent rounds, kids do 3 squats to get the chance to find Nemo (except the child who just found the fish). For added fun, additional fish can be hidden.
