A Brand X Method™ Kids Workout
WARM-UP:
3x
1:00 – rock-up-get-ups
2 sprints
FOCUS:
Plank pass-throughs and hold – forward and reverse (look for straight ankle, knee, hip, and shoulder alignment)
GET READY:
1:00 – piriformis stretch on the ground
1:00 – downward dog
CONDITIONING:
1:00 – box squats
2:00 – burpees
3:00 – 4#-6# Dynamini medicine ball push press (facing the wall if needed)
1:00 – box squats
GAME:
Skipping Rocks – Set tall cone as start point. Place one lacrosse ball onto each of 3 saucer cones, and place two buckets or other containers on their sides about 2 meters from the saucer cones. Kids plank walk to saucer cone #1 and from the plank position attempt to skip the lacrosse ball into one of the buckets. Player then plank walks to cone #2 and repeats. Players get one point for any hit, even bounce outs.
