A Brand X Method™ Kids Workout
WARM-UP:
2x
10-meter high-knee skip
10-meter zigzag run
10-meter bear crawl
10-meter broad jump
FOCUS:
Stinkbug push-ups – 3 sets x 10 reps, from the floor
GET READY:
1:00 each side – piriformis stretch
1:00 – child’s pose
CONDITIONING:
2-3 rounds
2:00 – burpee box jump-overs
2:00 – play Tarzan
GAME:
Marbles – Stage lacrosse balls in a circle 2-3 meters in diameter. These are the “marbles.” Players lie on their tummies in a larger circle around the marbles, 2-3 meters away. On “Go,” players hold plank for 20 seconds, flip to hollow hold for 20 seconds, then flip back to lying on tummies. On the second “Go,” each player in turn takes a shot to knock out marbles by rolling their Dynamini. Kids who knock out a marble are excused from the plank-hollow intervals for the following round.
