A Brand X Method™ Kids Workout

WARM-UP:
Alternate –
5 knees-to-elbows on bars or attempts
10-meter bear crawl

FOCUS:
Superman hollow flips and holds

GET READY:
1:00 – arm swings forward and backward, each side
1:00 – leg swings forward and backward, each side

CONDITIONING:
3 rounds
2:00 – Avoid the Bomb – Within a 10-meter x 10-meter space, using 1 hula hoop or large bucket and 1 Gator Skin ball per child. Each player takes a turn being the avoider and uses the hula hoop (carried horizontally) or bucket to catch and avoid the bombs. “Bombs” are Gator Skin balls thrown by all other players in the field toward the catcher. Bomb throwers should be scattered around the playing field to keep the catcher constantly moving. Players rotate being catcher every 45 seconds to 1 minute on trainer/teacher cue.
1:00 – slow blocked squats
0:30 – jumping jacks

GAME:
Supply each child with two paper plates and one pencil, crayon or marker. Have kids draw a delicious and healthy meal on a paper plate. Include protein, carbs and fat. Display the plates in the gym as a gentle reminder to kids and families.
