A Brand X Method™ Kids Workout
WARM-UP:
50-meter sprint
50-meter side shuffle
50-meter backward run*
*Trainers should run with the kids
FOCUS:
Teach and review the following:
Plank to push-up
Reverse plank
Parallette pass-through
GET READY:
1:00 – child’s pose
1:00 – bottom of the squat
1:00 – down dog
CONDITIONING:
2-3 rounds
2:00 – push-ups
2:00 – play catch with dodgeballs
2:00 – push presses, 1#-10# dumbbells
GAME:
Avoid the Bomb – Station one kid in the center of the play area with a large bucket or hula hoop. Other players should be randomly scattered around the play area with dodgeballs or similar soft balls. On “Go,” the player in center will begin to run holding bucket or hula hoop and try to catch or avoid the ball while other players throw bombs toward the bucket or hula hoop. Switch player in center every minute or two.
