A Brand X Method™ Kids Workout from Jeff and Mikki Martin
WARM-UP:
3:00
10-meter sprint
3 basic dot drills
FOCUS:
Box squats – focus on movement not depth, hands eye level, arms straight
GET READY:
1:00 seated hamstring stretch (chest up, toes pointed up, legs straight)
1:00 happy baby or Olympic wall squat (feet on wall)
CONDITIONING:
AMRAP in a given time
10-meter bear crawl => 10-meter side shuffle back to start
10 slow box squats to 20” box
GAME:
Max Stack – Using soft but sturdy items such as small crash mats or martial arts pads, create stacks for kids to split hurdle. Gradually add to the stack to allow each child to attempt his or her own max running hurdle.
