A Brand X Method™ Kids Workout
WARM-UP:
3:00-5:00
Alternate –
1:00 – high-knee skip
0:30 – plank
FOCUS:
Define protein, carbs and fat – give examples and discuss good choices (eg, chicken, spinach, avocado)
GET READY:
1:00 each side – Samson stretch
1:00 – child’s pose
CONDITIONING:
AMGMAP in 8:00
Nutrition workout – Have kids start each round in the center of the workout area. Trainer calls out a protein, carb or fat. Kids move to designated macronutrient exercise and complete five reps then return to the center for trainer to call out next item.
Protein = box squats
Carb = jumping jacks
Fat = burpees
GAME:
Spinning Dodgeball – Players must spin 360 degrees prior to throwing. When hit, players spin 360 or do a forward roll or cartwheel.
