A Brand X Method™ Kids Workout
WARM-UP:
0:30 – spin
1:00 – flutter kicks
FOCUS:
Walking lunge – review width of stride rather than length; drive up from vertical lead shin
GET READY:
1:00 – bottom of the squat
10-meter bear crawl out => 10-meter bear crawl back
CONDITIONING:
AMGMAP 8:00-10:00
10 walking lunges
15 grasshoppers
20 jumping jacks
GAME:
Safe While Moving – A traditional game of tag with trainer selecting the first player to be “It.” All other players run from “It” to avoid being tagged. Players may only be tagged between cones or if not moving at a cone. Kids are safe from being tagged while at a cone doing 5 blocked squats. They must immediately move to another cone after completing the blocked squats. Use one less cone than participants.
