GAME:
Switch the Stuff – Each child or team has a pair of hula hoops set 5 meters apart. On one side, all hoops are empty and on opposite side, hoops are filled with 5-7 objects, such as AbMats, cones, 10# bumper plates, 5# dumbbells or 6# medicine balls. Ask kids to perform a paused movement, for example, freeze in the bottom of the squat (engaged, ie, muscles on). Once everyone performs the movement well, coach calls “Go” and first person on each team runs to the opposite hoop to move the equipment back to start cone.
