A Brand X Method™ Kids Workout
WARM-UP:
Rock up-get up – Try not to use hands. Try to get up into a blocked squat (reminder depth is not important for blocked squat; emphasize feet flat and in contact with the ground, knee travel outward and flat spine)
FOCUS:
Blocked squat – practice muscles on/muscles off (show good blocked squat then negative example of disengaged blocked squat; show good blocked squat again). Practice blocked squat
GET READY:
1:00 each side – leg swings
1:00 – downward dog
CONDITIONING:
8:00-10:00
Trainer-directed intervals – trainer calls out and varies time throughout
Each exercise should last 20-60 seconds
Plank
Blocked squats
Box squats
Grasshoppers
Side-to-side hops
Broad jumps
Pull-ups
GAME:
Tug of war
