A Brand X Method™ Kids Workout
FOCUS:
Front squat – facing partner try to synchronize speed
Slow count to 3 on the way down and
Slow count to 3 on the way up
GET READY:
1:00 – grab knees and roll on back
1:00 – bottom of the squat
1:00 – down dog
CONDITIONING:
2-3 rounds
1:00 – jumping jacks
1:00 – T-planks
1:00 – broad jumps
1:00 – front squats at box, unloaded
1:00 – floppies
1:00 – thrusters at box, unloaded
GAME:
Hide and Sneak – Use one cone as a start point and label three cones or other objects with numbers or different colors. Arrange the labeled cones (or other objects) around the play area. One player is selected to be the first “sneak.” Other kids lie on their tummies, arranged in a circle with heads toward the center and hide their faces with their palms (this makes it easy to see if there is peaking). The sneak is directed to sneak from the start cone to one of the labeled cones or objects by performing an exercise to get there and running quietly back. Once the sneak returns to the start cone, “Hiders” do five burpees and then raise hands to guess which cone/object the sneak snuck to. The first to guess correctly is the next sneak.
