A Brand X Method™ Kids Workout
Super-slow squats – counting drills to 5 and to 7; ask kids to be careful not to work faster than the trainer count
1:00 each side – hamstring on box, each leg; try all three angles to hit abductor and adductor muscles
1:00 – pull-ups
1:00 – super-slow squats
1:00 – burpees
Box ‘o Rocks – Create gift-wrapped boxes filled with rocks that are safely packed and cushioned. Place half the number of presents as kids in class about 10 feet away from a starting line defined by cones. On “Go!” kids perform 5 burpees then race for a present, which they use to complete 5 push presses. If there are no more presents to lift, kids must continue doing burpees until one becomes available.
