A Brand X Method™ Kids Workout
WARM-UP:
3:00-5:00
Red Light, Green Light
FOCUS:
Front squat – middle position with freeze holds. Athletes must keep knees in line with mid-foot and pushed out with spine neutral. Trainer tags “out” as form deteriorates
GET READY:
1:00 each side – couch stretch
1:00 – happy baby
CONDITIONING:
AMRAP in 8:00
5 box jump-over burpees
5 front squats, unloaded-8# dumbbells
Ask kids to write the movement they did best on the whiteboard
GAME:
Safe While Moving – Traditional tag but players are safe from tagging when doing burpees at the cones. Three burpees at cones, then run to the next cone. Kids are not safe while running. Use one less cone than number of children in class.
