Muscles On- 5 drop to the ground squats, 5 “muscles on” squats
Strong Tree- 5 press in the air, 5 loaded press (markers-8# db)
Footprint in the Sand- 10 knee dip towards neighbor
Waiting in the Outfield, hit positions #1-3, 5 times
Knee over Ankle- 5 Step forward lunges, 5 step back lunges
Then:
15-20 tempo Air Squats on coaches count 1-3 down, 1-3 up
15-20 Presses (markers – 8# db)
15-20 Hinge over bench to DL KB (4-8kg)\
15-20 Walking Lunges
Game
Create a race between two teams
Place start/ finish cones (12-15 ft/4-5 meters )apart in both lanes, with a jump rope at
both finish cones. Upon go have kids get from Start to Finish by using “running jacks”=
jumping jacks while running/side shuffling. Make sure each child knows they have to
complete at least 3 jumping jacks within the run to count, they return to start if
incomplete. Once at the finish cone they use the rope to jump rope for a count of five
successful jumps then run back to start to tag next player
