Brand X Method™ Kids Workout
WARM-UP:
20-meter shuttle relays
FOCUS:
Grip practice hanging from bar
Turn 180 degrees
Turn 360 degrees
Monkey taps
GET READY:
2x
10 arm circles, each arm
10 walking lunges
WORKOUT/GAME:
10:00-15:00
Blanket Fort – Divide class into teams of 3 or 4.Give each team an equidistant location from other teams—preferably a least 3 meters apart—and a kit to build a fort. For example, we used the following:
4 folding chairs
1 sheet
4 PVC
1 hula hoop
All team members start in the center of the play area in the plank position. On “Go,” everyone runs 100 meters then returns to construct the fort for 1:00. Trainer calls out an exercise, such as 20 jumping jacks, 10 squats, or 5 burpees, and everyone goes to the center to do the exercise then returns to fort building.
