A Brand X Method™ Kids Workout

20-meter shuttle relays

Grip practice hanging from bar –
Turn 180
Turn 360
Monkey taps

10 arm circles, forward and backward, each arm
10 walking lunges

Blanket Fort – Divide class into teams of 3 or 4. Give each team a location equidistant from other teams, preferably a least 3 meters apart and a kit to build a fort. We used the following:

4 folding chairs
1 sheet
4 PVC pipe lengths
1 hula hoop

All team members start in the center of the play area in plank position. On “Go,” everyone runs
100 meters. On return members can build the fort for 1:00. Trainer calls out an exercise such as 20 jumping jacks, 10 squats or 5 burpees. Everyone comes back to center to do the requested movement then back to fort building 1:00. This sequence continues until a fort is completed, and then forts are dismantled and play is repeated at the trainer’s discretion.
