Med Ball “Clean the House”: Fill one side of your class area with Med Balls of varying sizes and line children up shoulder to shoulder on the opposite side. On Trainer “Go” kids run back and forth “Cleaning” the items up and carrying them to the opposite side of the Box/Gym. You can add variety by asking them to roll the balls hand over hand instead of carrying them.
Plank: Hand position to avoid bridging.
10 Box Squats
Multiple Legged Race: Divide kids into two teams. Each team splits so that half of the team is at the starting line and the other half are at the middle line. On Trainers “GO” one player from each team races from the starting line to the middle line. When a child arrives at the middle line, a teammate take her string and ties one of her legs to the teammate that just arrived to form three legs. Tied together they run back to the starting line as quickly as possible. At the starting line, the next child takes his string and ties it to one of the legs of the two teammates already tied together. Then, all three kids race back to the middle line. Players keep tying onto teammates until every player on the team is tied together and they make it back to the starting line. Should a string come untied, the team must stop immediately and re-tie before continuing. The first team to complete the relay is the winner.
