A Brand X Method™ Kids Workout
WARM-UP:
2-meter shuttle runs – alternate broad jump and sprint
FOCUS:
One-legged hops – 2:00-4:00 practice w/shoes off; kids should stand near a vertical support if needed
GET READY:
2:00 – Spider-Man stretch
CONDITIONING:
EMOM for 8:00-10:00
Create a line of jump boxes across the center of a 10-meter x 10-meter work area.
Bear crawl to the boxes, jump up, over and across.
Increase by 1 crossing each minute
GAME:
Pillow Fight – Need minimum of 3 kids. Create 3 lines with start and finish cones 10 meters apart. Place two pillows 5 meters past the center cone in a pile. Kids race to finish cone and do 5 toes-to-bar on floor then race to pillows. First two to get pillows have 30 seconds to pillow fight (make sure pillows have no zippers and define rules: no hits to face; first person who touches pillow wins it).
