The Brand X Method Preschool Workout
From the Founders of CrossFit Kids
Warm-Up:
Storm the Castle – Set up two 30”-boxes with enough bumper plates on top to create clearance for the tallest child in class. Place a crash mat or similar item across both boxes to act as a “gate.” Kids run underneath and attempt to press the castle gate up.
Workout:
AMRAP
Bear crawl => 3 tuck jumps
Bear crawl => 3 frog hops
Game:
Dragon Tails – Similar to tag. Children have a dragon tail (paper towels folded lengthwise work well) lightly tucked into the back of their waistband. The child that is “It” has to grab someone’s tail. A child that loses a tail becomes “it.”
