A Brand X Method™ Kids Workout

WARM-UP:
Backward shuttle runs

FOCUS:
Drop-Stand front squat portion – elbows up

GET READY:
Basic dot drill x 5 (in place)
1:00 – runner’s stretch

CONDITIONING:
1:30 – mountain climbers
1:00 – pumpkin bowling
1:30 – burpees
1:00 – pumpkin bowling
1:30 – knees-to-elbows on the floor
1:00 – pumpkin bowling
1:30 – jump rope

GAME:
Using 3 hula hoops set about 5 meters from a start point and placed 3 meters apart in a straight line moving away from the start point, have kids throw and bounce at least once a large plyo-ball. Assign exercises to each hoop in ascending difficulty (eg, first hoop = 1 jumping jack; second hoop = 3 squats; third hoop = 5 burpees). Kids take turns throwing/bouncing and others perform exercises as dictated by each throw.
