Change of direction drills –
Side shuffle – switch to face other direction on trainer cue
Side shuffle – switch right to left on trainer cue
King of 10 Meters – This follows a ladder-style EMOM (every minute on the minute) protocol whereby kids run 5 x 10 meters in the first minute, 6 x 10 meters in the second, 7 x 10 meters in the third, etc., until they fail to make the required number of 10-meter shuttles within the minute. The clock continues to run until the last kid misses the required number of shuttles or until 15 shuttles are attempted. As a variation, kids can bear crawl rather than run.
