A Brand X Method™ Kids Workout

Tabata
Jump Rope
Squats

FOCUS:
Kid President – push press – ask 1 or 2 kids to teach two good cues for the push press

GET READY:
1:00 each side – triangle against wall
1:00 – downward dog

CONDITIONING:
Using 4#-6# Dynamini medicine ball have kids arrange themselves in a circle (about 3-5-meter diameter)
2 rounds
1:00 – pass medicine ball clockwise as fast as possible
1:00 – each child push presses super slow 2x
1:00 – pass medicine ball counterclockwise
1:00 – 15-meter shuttle runs

GAME:
Pillow Fight – Need minimum of 3 kids. Create 3 lines with start and finish cones 10 meters apart. Place two pillows 5 meters past the center cone in a pile. Kids bear crawl to finish cone and do 3 blocked squats then race to pillows. First two to get pillows have 30 seconds to pillow fight (make sure pillows have no zippers and define rules: no hits to face; first person who touches pillow wins it).
