Max Stack w/1 broad jump buy in – Using soft but sturdy items such as small crash mats or martial arts pads, create stacks for kids to split hurdle. Gradually add to the stack to allow each child to attempt his or her own max running hurdle.
Box squats holding 4#-8# kettlebell. Hug kettlebell close to chest and keep calves against box throughout squat.
1:00-2:00 – down dog to inchworm
1:00 – seal stretch
Divide space for lunges and kicking/rolling

2 x 10-meter walking lunge
2 x 10-meter roll and kick dodgeball or 4# medicine ball
Farmers and Lumberjacks – Scatter 9 or more tall cones around a large playing area of about 30’ x 30’, half upright and half knocked over. Divide the group into Farmers and Lumberjacks: Farmers are asked to keep the cones growing (standing) and Lumberjacks are asked to cut (knock) them down. All players must be moving at all times and cannot block or protect cones or touch other players. If at any point all cones are either up or down, the trainer calls freeze and the kids do 3 reps of a selected bodyweight exercise. Teams swap roles every few minutes.
