A Brand X Method™ Kid Workout from Jeff and Mikki Martin

Warm-Up:
Dodgeball thruster and catch – Perform a thruster to toss the ball in the air20150409-DSC_0299-2

Focus:
Drop-stand (DS) portion of dip-shrug-drop-stand (DSDS)
Review DSDS as a whole movement

1:00 arm circles and swings

Game:
Plank Ball
The athletes must hold a plank position in a circle about 10 to 12 feet in diameter, depending on the class size.
While the music is on, the players must maintain the plank position and pass the hot potato (Large inflatable physic ball, ideally 30 inches in diameter). With a single hand or a head butt.
When the music stops, the player who touched the potato last must go to the center of the circle and perform a designated exercise for 3 to 5 reps. Once the exercise is complete, play resumes.
