A Brand X Method™ Kids Workout
Pizza Delivery – Provide each kid an AbMat or similar object to balance overhead in a waiter’s carry as if holding a pizza. On “Go,” the kids must try to knock the other kids’ pizzas out of their hands without losing their own pizzas. Last kid standing with his or her pizza wins the round. Kids whose pizzas are knocked down go to sidelines and do 1:00 hollow hold.
Rotational throw – practice throwing to the wall with dodgeballs up to 4# medicine balls. Facing away from the wall, have kids step toward wall and throw. This may need to be done with trainer leading and counting at first.
1:00 each side – side bends holding head
1:00 – seated V stretch
1:00 – hillbilly prowler passes
1:00 – box jumps
1:00 – box squats
Stinky Feet w/hula hoops – Place 12 socks in two hula hoops 5 meters apart. Place two empty hula hoops 10 meters from those. With shoes off, have kids pick up socks by grabbing with their feet and move them to opposite hoop. Teams compete to clear their hoop and fill the empty hoop.
